Description
Zack Golditch is an offensive guard for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Colorado State. He signed with the Chargers and spent the preseason in Los Angeles until being released on September 1st, 2018. Golditch has also been a member of the San Francisco 49ers and Indianapolis Colts,
On July 20th, 2012, Golditch was in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater watching a midnight screening of “The Dark Knight” when a gunman entered an adjacent theater and started shooting, killing 12 and injuring 70. Golditch was hit in the neck by a bullet that went through the wall of the theater. The bullet was “really, really close” but thankfully didn’t hit an artery. Golditch was treated and released from the hospital later the same morning. He was a rising senior at Gateway High School at the time of the shooting.
Golditch was a member of the Colorado State Rams football team for five seasons, redshirting his freshman season. Golditch started 38 games over the next four seasons for the Rams and was named first team All-Mountain West as a senior. With his help, the offensive line averaged one sack allowed per game and ranked first in the Mountain West with 492.5 yards of offense per game.
Unfortunately, he tore a flexor tendon in his left ring finger while playing in the NFLPA’s Collegiate Bowl. This kept him from doing any positional work during Colorado State’s pro day which likely played a role in his name not getting called over the course of draft weekend.
Golditch entered the NFL in May, 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Colorado State. He signed with the Chargers and spent the preseason in Los Angeles until being released on Sept. 1st, 2018. Golditch, 23, spent the first six weeks of the season on the 49ers’ practice squad. After San Francisco waived him, Golditch signed with the Colts’ practice squad on Oct. 18th, 2018.
Golditch was signed to the Arizona Cardinals active roster off the Colts practice squad on November 5th, 2018. He made his NFL debut on November 25th, 2018 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Golditch played in his 2nd game the following week in a 27-24 loss against the Seattle Seahawks.
The featured black and silver nike cleats were game worn by Zack Golditch as a member of the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Season. The talented offensive guard has signed each cleat and added his “#75” and also added “Game Worn Rookie Year 2018” to the right heel in black. The cleats show good use!
