Trevin Wade

Trevin Wade is a cornerback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona. Wade did not crack the starting lineup as a freshman, but he quickly turned into a big play cornerback. He did not start a game and only tallied a dozen total tackles, but the 5-11 Round Rock, Texas product picked off an impressive four passes. The following year Wade increased his career interception total to nine. He also tallied 71 tackles and defended 14 passes. Wade earned second-team all-conference honors last season after intercepting two passes and breaking up 13.

The 5-foot-10, 192-pounder had a solid NFL Combine running in the 4.5s at the NFL scouting combine, bench pressing 225 pounds 18 times with a 34 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9-8 broad jump, a 4.00 20-yard shuttle and a 6.87 three-cone drill. Another huge positive to scouts is that Wade is known as a high-character individual. The big play cornerback received a 5.9 final grade from National scouting after his senior year, a second-round designation. The sky is bright for the future Saints cornerback!
