Description
Coleman Crow is a pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels Organization. He was drafted in the 28th Round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels. Crow was selected by the Angels out of Pike County High School in Zebulon, Georgia. He originally committed to Kennesaw State but chose to sign with the Angels and begin his professional career.
Crow began his professional career in 2021 with Low-A Inland Empire and was 4-3 with a 4.19 ERA in 13 games (10 starts) for the 66ers. At the conclusion of the 2021 Season, Crow participated in the Arizona Fall League. Despite being the youngest pitcher there at age 20, he was dominant with a 1.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 20-to-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 17 innings in the AFL.
He made his Double-A debut for Rocket City in the 2022 home opener at Toyota Field on April 12th against Pensacola. He appeared in 24 games for Rocket City including 23 starts and went 9-3 with a 4.85 ERA. He also added 128 strikeouts in 128 innings.
Crow was named Southern League Pitcher of the Week for the period ending Sunday, May 22. Crow made one start and was extraordinary, throwing 7.2 scoreless outings with just four hits against and one walk while striking out six to earn his second win of the season in a 4-0 victory at Birmingham at Regions Field. The 7.2 innings were a new career-high, surpassing the previous mark of 6.0 innings, set three times in 2021 for Low-A Inland Empire. He followed up that stellar performance by pitching 8 innings against Birmingham on June 25th, 2022 and giving up 1 run on only 2 Hits and striking out 5 in a Trash Pandas 8-1 Win.
For his young minor league career, Crow is 13-6 with a 4.63 ERA. He also has 190 Strikeouts in 190 innings. The 22 year old is currently the Los Angeles Angels 21st ranked Prospect. The future is bright for the talented right-hander!

The Instructional league is a form of winter league baseball that normally takes place after the end of the minor league season and allows top prospects to work on perfecting certain aspects of their game in a game environment that is at a high level but less competitive than normal minor league games. Crow was one of the Angels Top Prospects that got chosen to participate in the ‘Instructs’ after the 2022 Minor League Season. The talented right-hander has signed the Pants in black. The Pants are tagged with 2021 32 38 30 OB with a number 70 written in black. There is also a number “3” in black. The Pants are washed and do not show any visible wear.
