David McCabe is a first baseman/ third baseman in the Atlanta Braves organization. He was drafted in the 4th Round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Braves. He is currently the Atlanta Braves 14th Ranked Prospect. He played college baseball at UNC Charlotte.

The Braves sent seven prospects to the Arizona Fall League including McCabe, Dylan Dodd, infielder Keshawn Ogans, catcher Tyler Tolve, and pitchers Patrick Halligan, Jake McSteen, and Brooks Wilson. The Rome Braves are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They are located in Rome, Georgia, and play their home games at AdventHealth Stadium. In 2023, McCabe played in 81 games with Rome and hit .281 with 9 HRs and 50 RBIs for an .816 OPS.
