David McCabe is a first baseman/ third baseman in the Atlanta Braves organization. He was drafted in the 4th Round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Braves. He is currently the Atlanta Braves 14th Ranked Prospect. He played college baseball at UNC Charlotte.
At the completion of the 2023 Minor League Baseball Season, McCabe was chosen by the Atlanta Braves to participate in the Arizona Fall League. The Arizona Fall League is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. McCabe played as a member of the Salt River Rafters. The Salt River Rafters are a baseball team that plays in the East Division of the Arizona Fall League. They play their home games at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona. McCabe had a stellar AFL experience collecting 20 hits in 72 At-Bats for a .278 Batting Average. He also walked 23 times in 21 games for a .448 OBP and .809 OPS.
