A Jim Thorpe Award preseason watch list selection, Addae compiled 302 tackles, including 15 for a loss, and eight interceptions for his career.

For his outstanding college career, Addae was invited to participate in the 88th annual East-West Shrine Game which took place an hour away from Valrico, FL where the 5-foot-11, 200-pounder played high school football.

Addae finished the 2017 season with a career-high 96 combined tackles (66 solo), seven pass deflections, and a half a sack in 16 games and 16 starts. It marked the first time he started all 16 games and first time since his rookie season he played in all 16 games. Pro Football Focus gave Addae an overall grade of 83.4, which ranked 21st among all qualified safeties in 2017.

In between the combine and the NFL Draft, NFL coaches and personnel — not to mention the prospects themselves — turn their attention to the various college “pro day” workouts. These are not as all-encompassing as the combine, but they are important enough for the key decision-makers in the league to travel around the country for more than a month to see the talent up close and personal.

The featured white and black adidas cleats were worn by Addae on Central Michigan Chippewas NFL Pro Day at CMU’s indoor Athletic Complex in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on Monday, March 11, 2013. Scouts and coaches from many NFL teams came to CMU’s pro day to look at Addae as well as offensive lineman Eric Fisher who is projected to be a top-10 pick in next month’s NFL draft. Unofficially, Addae ran a 4.68 40-yard dash, had a 10-foot-4 broad jump, a 38.5 vertical jump and benched-pressed 225 pounds 10 times at CMU’s pro day. The cleats were worn by Addae for 40-yard dash and are brand new. The talented Chargers safety has signed the right shoe in black. Unique item worn by a future NFL star on one of the most important days before turning pro!
