Shean Michel is an outfielder with the Atlanta Braves Organization. He is currently assigned to the Rome Braves. The Rome Braves are an American professional baseball team based in Rome, Georgia. The Braves compete in Minor League Baseball, as the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The Braves paid $175,000 for Michel when he was a 17-year-old outfielder from Curacao, after he played well in the Senior Little League World Series in Bangor, Maine. At 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Michel can play center field with good speed and an above-average arm. For a 23-year old, he has a lot of baseball experience, with a line-drive approach and mostly gap power.
Michel made his debut in professional baseball with the DSL Braves in 2015. In 2016 he was promoted to the Gulf Coast League. After 5 games in the Gulf Coast League in 2017, Raysheandall was promoted to the Danville Braves. Despite playing at a higher level, his batting average skyrocketed from .227 in the GCL to .326 in the Appalachian League in 35 Games. He raked with 43 Hits in 132 At-Bats and an .802 OPS
In 2021 with the Rome Braves, Michel played in 75 games and collected 53 Hits and scored 35 runs. In July, the 23-year-old closed out his best month of the year batting .421 with four stolen bases. In his minor league career, Michel has played in 373 Games and collected 321 Hits including 38 Doubles, 21 Triples and 55 Stolen Bases.
