Description
Yohel Pozo is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher and designated hitter in the Oakland Athletics organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, for whom he debuted with in 2021.
On December 13th, 2022, Pozo signed a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training with the Oakland Athletics. He re-signed a minor league contract on November 11, 2023. In 2024 with the Las Vegas Aviators, Pozo had another tremendous season hitting .324 with 15 HR’s and 54 RBI’s for an .873 OPS.
